➕ Creating patients
In this section, you will learn how to create a new patient. You will perform this task before taking the first set of baseline photos. In other words: this step must be completed only once per patient.
Steps
To create a patient, you will need to follow these steps.
1. Open the Patients
section
Once you are logged in, click on the Patients
section on the left sidebar. In the following image, you can see the Patients
section highlighted.
2. Click on Add
Once you are in the Patients
section, you will see a list of all the patients in the study for your site. On the top right, click the green button labeled Add
.

The first time you open this view, the list of patients is going to be empty. This is because you haven't created any patients yet. Please note that the only patients that appear here are the ones you have created.
Click on the Add
3. Fill in the form
Once you click on the Add
- Subject number: nnnnnn-nnn (This will be the screening number issued by IRT)
- Site number: nnnnnn (This is your 6 digit site number)
"n" refers to a number between 0 and 9
You may do that by filling in this form:

To add the subject number and the site number, simply type in the values.
Please don't pay attention to the sections Primary doctor
and Referral
. They are not relevant to this study.
4. Save the patient
Now that you have added all the information about the patient, you can click on the Add
